The 48-year-old singer Whitney Houston died Saturday on the eve of the Grammy Awards. Beverly Hills police told reporters outside the Beverly Hilton that Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. in her room on the fourth floor of the hotel. Houston’s publicist, Kristen Foster, said the cause of death was unknown.

February 1st, 2012 Zimagazine Don Cornelius who famously created “Soul Train” was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, CA home this morning . According to law enforcement, it appears he committed suicide. Cornelius died from a gunshot wound to the head and officials believe the wound was self-inflicted.
