According to TMZ, Regis Philbin left his morning talk show after hearing he was going to make less.

  The pay cut was reportedly due to the show not performing as well as in the past and because Regis takes a lot of time off.

Regis Philbin is finally retiring after 28 years on “Live with Regis and Kelly.” He is approaching 80 years old, yet he still has the ability to capture and entertain  viewers.

People have started their daily routine watching “Live” with Regis and Kelly for 28 years and most are very sad that he is leaving.

Kelly said she is very sad to see him leaving. Kelly has started most of her mornings for the past 10 years with Regis and is depressed to see him leaving.

No one knows if he will finish out the year on the show, part of the year, or if he is planning to quit in the coming weeks

How will they find a replacement?
