Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan, 17 years old, exults as she receives her crown in Las Vegas on Saturday night, 15 January.  She’s only 17 years old.

Teresa Scanlan biography of Miss America 2011 is now live.

 The highlights:

Teresa Scanlan was born in California, raised in Nebraska, and home-schooled until she was 15, when she started attending public school.

She graduated from high school last May, was named Miss Nebraska in June, and now is Miss America 2011.
